THE PLANET IS OUR PLAYGROUND
THE MOBILE NETWORK FOR LIFE'S EXPLORERS, POWERED BY ecoSIM
40 million tonnes of electronic waste is generated annually, 80% of which heads straight into landfill. Along with mobile phones, cables and batteries, the production and disposal of plastic SIM cards is a substantial contributor to this waste.
Despite what you may think about it's tiny size, each SIM cards needs to be punched out of a credit-card sized plastic sheet which is then thrown away! With consumers now using more SIM cards than ever, plastic waste is at an all time high!
What's the answer to this huge problem? You guessed it... eSIM.
SWITCH TO eSIM NOW AND JOIN THE SUSTAINABLE REVOLUTION

eSIMs don't require any plastic, they are embedded direclty into the device

eSIMs are digital, removing the need for bulky packaging

plastic SIM cards are transported and distributed across the world, by air, sea and land. eSIMs greatly reduce the need for physical logistics

eSIMs and eSIM plans are sold digitally (like through the EXTREME Connect app!) meaning that there is no need for the customer to travel to the shop.

TREAD LIGHTER
Created in mid 2020 while in the first global lock down. It has not been easy but whilst we’ve been stuck indoors, nature has had time to heal. Through the release of our Tread Lighter video, we invite everyone to join us in doing their part to minimise our impact.
EXTREME'S SUSTAINABILITY PARTNERS

We have partnered with “The Planet Mark” to measure our environmental impact and understand the measures we can take to propel us forwards on our mission to becoming carbon neutral.
We are signed up to 1% for the Planet through which we have committed 1% of our annual revenue to environmental non-profit organisations that are creating a more sustainable future for all.
We have committed to the United Nations “Sports for Climate Action” which commits us to raise awareness about climate change and promotes sustainable and responsible consumption through the power of sport and adventure.

In order to more thoroughly drive our activity within these initiatives and ensure we have a sound underpinning in our engagement, we have chosen 4 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to guide our focus and thinking

Steering us in this quest to do better for our planet is Amber Nuttall, our dedicated environmental and sustainability director who is no stranger to the perseverance and passion it takes to put our environment first. Amber supports and advises NGOs, governments and corporate organisations on their environmental goals and strategies. She is a proud board member of the Bahamas Reef Environment Educational Foundation (BREEF) and is also an advisor, fundraiser, and ambassador to the Blue Marine Foundation.

THE EXTREME HANGOUT
AT COP26
Inspired by our love of adventure sports and our passion to protect the planet, EXTREME made it its mission to give the youth a voice at COP26 and beyond.
The EXTREME Hangout at COP26, https://www.extremehangoutevents.com/ was an 11 day youth conference and dynamic hub. With amazing partners, we did just that. The EXTREME Hangout hosted 200 speakers over 56 sessions all livestreamed out to a global audience. The livestream had 550,000 views with 5m impressions and delivered over 200 pieces of global press coverage. The content and level of debate and discussion was superb.
All sessions are available on our website to watch again, please listen to the amazing young people and inspirational speakers. Our 27 partners ranged from OVO Energy and One Young World, to Vivobarefoot, Nestle, Violife, Blue Marine Foundation, Think Beyond, Foresight, Zero Carbon Campaign, YMCA, the Climate Champions and many many more. We gave young people a seat at the table and heard them innovate, engage, inspire, rage and drive others on to do more. The EXTREME Hangout became a welcome hub for many, full of rich content, warmth and great tea and coffee. We will continue to give youth a voice. Join us at the next Extreme Hangout. We would love to have a conversation with you to discuss what we might do together.
